Change is the only constant in life! Last October, my Principal Broker at S & W Real Estate called a meeting to inform his agents it was time to downsize and see more of his grandchildren. My beloved office of 10+ years would soon be history!
I closed the last of my remaining escrows a few weeks ago and promised myself to include plans for some time off while interviewing for a new brokerage to join.
During the break, I spent most of my holidays in the orchestra pit as percussionist for the Addams Family Broadway show at the Newport Performing Arts Center in November. I called my friend (and fellow RE agent!) in California and invited her as my guest in the pit for the last 2 shows, then we flew to CA together on the same plane and I spent a fun filled "real estate free" week at her cabin in Big Bear.
Now that it is time to get back to work, I hereby make the following announcement.......Drum roll please......
....I am now a broker with Advantage Real Estate of Newport Oregon!
It's official! My desk up and running as of today. I feel as though I have a new set of wings!
To begin my new adventure at Advantage, I have listed an upscale condo in the heart of popular Nye Beach. It is a corner unit, close to great restaurants and the beach access at Nye Beach Turnaround.
Here's the view from the deck....ocean at the
end of the street, just beyond the Sylvia Beach
Hotel, the taller three story bldg., center.
Happy New Year fellow Rainers!
Look me up for a home tour of Lincoln County, Newport and surrounding areas on the Central Oregon coast. While you are in Newport, may I suggest a visit to the Newort Performing Arts Center?
Tympani, xylophones, assorted sounds, triangle, etc...
PS - I will again be in the percussion section of the orchestra pit for the next two weekends for the live stage production of "Beauty and the Beast" at the Newport Performing Arts Center in Newport, Oregon. Show runs Friday nights at 7:00 PM, 2:00 matinee and 7:00 PM on Saturdays. Tickets available online or at the box office. The production is fantastic (so I am told!) and features local kids of all ages. Show runs this weekend and next, until Jan 27th.
Treat yourself to a live stage show in 2018, wherever you happen to live.
