1. Trim, weed and tidy up lawn and garden

2. Clean up pet areas

3. Repair screens, windows and doors

4. Rearrange furniture for a more spacious feel. Remove any extra pieces.

5. Accent with fresh flowers

6. Open the shades and drapes to let in light.

7. Arrange toys to look appealing

8. Remove attention-getting posters

9. Clean and deodorize vent or exhaust hood

10. Clear away extra small appliances

11. Remove stains from sinks

12. Remove access papers

13. Clean bathroom counters of extra toiletries

14. Remove mold from sink, tub, or shower

15. Patch, caulk and grout as needed

The last one for some people are the most difficult. Getting rid of items they will never use.  Don't know why but its true
