Houston Weather, very Strange this year

Call me crazy, but I think it's all part of "climate change." ;)  Regardless, it sure keeps us all on our toes. D

The weather has been pretty crazy across most of the nation this year, hasn't it?

It’s crazy but the south has had more snow than we have had this year - and usually if our snowstorms come up from the south, they are doozies.  This yer they are running out of steam before they drop much snow on us.

We are having delightful balmy weather with cool nights.  Happily given the massive clean up and freeway closures, the forecast for rain went away...LOL A

I am with you it has been the same in our market area. I know winter just started but I am ready for the nice Florida sun to come back.

The last 12 months have seen so many weather challenges across the nation.  There was the hurricane in your area.  The severe snow storms along the eastern states.  Wildfires and mudslides in California, and some of the western states.  I'm hoping for a milder 2018, but we don't seem to be getting off to the best of starts.

It's been crazy throughout the country this year Yolanda. We just got five inches of snow & it's supposed to be in the 60's this weekend. Before that we had that cold snap of temps in the teens then it was in the 70's again. Wacky!

Yolanda, it has been very cold here, but the temps are rising and will be in the mid 50s this weekend. A heat wave 

Hi Yolanda- I spoke with my brother in Houston today and he said that schools were out the other day because of the ice. What a crazy weather year. 

Take great care when you must be out and about when the conditions are icy.

The weather everywhere has been crazy..we have now experienced a light dusting of snow three times this year and the last time was 10 years ago! There is no question you are Houston Strong! You've;e had quite the year of weather to contend with.

Glad you are persevering. Climate change has made storms bigger and the warmth in the artic has pushed snow and cold conditions south.

That is indeed crazy weather, I hope that you and Robert Bob Gilbert are doing well otherwise.

Hi Yolanda... we've have very odd weather in Charlotte, as well. One day it's almost 70 degrees and the next barely above freezing. 

I just talked to a friend that was in Cancun last week and the cold has even migrated that far south. She said the water was freezing cold. Stop sending your snow in my direction. 

Yolanda, it does sound like you have had some extreme weather, and we have been way too warm.  Until tonight, we have only had a few flakes.
