It doesn't get easier, you just get better. It's a statement that I have heard many times and mostly in reference to exercise. When you first start lifting weights or running, you may find it very difficult to do what seems like a small task. However, as you continue to run or lift you will notice that in no time you can run a little further or lift a little more weight. The more you do, the more you can do.
Well, real estate is really no different. When you first start out, that phone can seem really heavy as you pick it up to prospect. But as you make more and more calls you begin to gain the confidence to keep going, especially when you manage to make some appointments. Each listing presentation you go on can seem to run a little more smoothly than the last as you start to shake off the nerves and become more comfortable with your ability. The truth is that whether you are talking about working out or conducting business in real estate, none of the tasks at hand become any easier, you simply become better at doing them.
