Your Financial Requirements Do Not Define Your Worth
Mashing that up with a Jim Rohn quote so you can get a new direction.
"You cannot change your destination overnight, but
You can change your direction overnight."-Jim Rohn
Quote #26 from Dr. Joe Tichio's book.

Today's daily dose of Organek Food for Thought combines Think and Grow Rich's Chapter 7 on Organized Planning and Jim Rohn's quote on feeling empowered to take the first step to a new life.
Think And Grow Rich's "Organized Planning (Part 2 of 2)" - Organized Planning is "The Crystallization of Desire into Action". My takeaway from the sixth step towards riches is, Your financial requirements have nothing whatever to do with your worth.
Your value is measured by your abilities. Your value is measured by the quantity of work you can perform at the highest level of quality you can perform with the highest level of spirit in doing your work. Those three things must be at their highest potential area for you to achieve maximum success. If you aren't making the money you want to make, it will be because the three legs to your income stool are at different lengths. A McDonald's employee earns a wage based on really not having to be accountable to being measured as an individual on all three areas. As such, what does a McDonald's employee make? The difference between a successful REALTOR and a too often than not "average" REALTOR can be traced back to the QQS formula. And to further underscore the takeway, most agents will do the bare minimum as their goal is just to meet their financial requirements. Sadly, most of the time, people live beyond their means.
The Quote:
"You cannot change your destination overnight, but you can change your direction overnight."-Jim Rohn
No matter how crappy of a path you're headed down, one small step in a different direction will take you to a whole new destination. Anything that you feel could use improvement in your life just needs a step in a new direction. It doesn't even need to be the right direction. Just break out of the rut so you can at least not crash into the destination you know you don't want to end up in.
The mash-up: Determine whether or not you are doing what you always dreamt about doing. If not, figure out what it is you want to do and take a new step in a different direction. Don't quit your day job (or evening job). Just start exploring options. Doing so may cause you to appreciate where you are in life right now and you might even find you're already doing what you absolutely love. Maybe you just don't like the hours. Maybe you don't like the drive. Maybe you don't like many other things. All that is okay, just go and pick something else to do or pick a new way of doing what you love that just isn't getting your dreams accomplished. Whatever happens, don't stay in the rut.
