Hello everyone (and again to many of you)!
I imagine many of you actually rmeember me from being so active on ActiveRain in the past (2004-2008?), blogging about mortgages, especially incorporating them into financial plans, etc. I was also really good at forecasting mortgage rates. Unfortunately, and in some ways fortunately, when the market tanked I ultimately decided to leave and follow another passion...photography.
I did post one or two things about photography, by honestly real estate photography was not anywhere close to my main focus, and admittedly is not high on my list these days. However, having incorporated drones into my business (I am a real airline pilot afterall) I find myself doing real estate aerial (drone) photos and videos quite a bit. As such, I began thinking about where I should start discussing this genre and I remembered my time here on AR, so I am back and will likely begin posting regularly here again, albeit focusing on real estate photography, especially pertaining to drone work.
Going forward, you can expect me to do what I can to assist all of you in obtaining the best aerial photos and videos from drones, whether you do the flying or hire someone else. Additionally, I will be covering legal aspects, among other factors for drone flying that you may not be aware of, which could endanger the safety and/or legality of aerial work at your property(ies). I do take questions from readers that I will then answer personally, or in a future blog (if enough people ask the question), so feel free to contact me and I will get back to you as quickly as I can.
I trust that my posts will once again be helpful to all of you and I look forward to getting reacquianted with the AR community under this new capacity.
