What a wonderful cause, Lets go support The Northstar Neighborhood!!!
Join Rainier CrossFit and The Northstar Neighborhood for a trail run fundraiser in Tehaleh! Embark on a 2K walk, 5K run or 10 mile trail run to support the purchasing of a farm that will be a place of belonging, employment, and community for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The 2K is family, stroller, and wheelchair friendly. The longer distances will challenge any runner while the scenery will hopefully distract you from the misery of running and let’s be honost — probably in the rain.
Onsite registration will open at 8am. The 10 mile and 5K will begin at 9am. The 2K will begin at 9:30. Waivers will be emailed in advance of the event, and can be turned in at check in. We will have waivers on site for those who need them.
You can lean about the farm and our story at www.thenorthstarneighborhood.org and join our growing community on Facebook at The NorthStar Neighborhood. This is just a very early step in a big wonderful dream. Come dream with us, and soon, come visit the farm and see what’s growing.
Registrations can be transferred to another runner up until Jan 26th. This event is not hosted by Tehaleh, but will take place in Tehaleh. Get all of the details and register at the link provided. While in the neighborhood, stop by The Post, Tehaleh’s new-home information center, and enter-to-win a $150 gift card to Fleet Feet.

Future of Tehaleh
Tehaleh demonstrates development done right through a thoughtful balance of mixed housing, open space and employment-producing commercial/industrial property. Over the next 20 years, Tehaleh will grow to become a self-sufficient 4,700-acre community within Pierce County’s Urban Growth Area. When complete, it is anticipated that the community will feature more than 1,800 acres of parks, trails, open space, up to 9,700 homes, and 475 acres dedicated to employment uses. Schools, parks and other infrastructure are expected to continue to be built as the community grows.
