What is your why for keeping bees?

Real Estate Agent with Long & Foster Real Estate Inc 610-225-7400 PA License - AB067198

Last year I struck up a conversation with Paul Dangel a local beekeeper. This is the first video in a series on the three W's of beekeeping. Why keep bees? Who should and shouldn't keep bees? Where can you keep bees?

We spent a fascinating time filming this today, and in this first video you get a quick glimpse of our cat Max who decided to put in an appearance. I split this up into different segments to keep them as short as possible but we covered lots of related topics.

We could have talked for hours and I am looking forward to bringing more videos about this fascinating subject to you over the Spring and Summer.

Enjoy and let me know any questions you might have as well?

Whether you want to keep bees or not we can help you find the right place to live for you.

Nick & Trudy Vandekar, 610-203-4543 - I really enjoyed listening to the video about bees. It is so educational and I like the informal talking between two business owners. This is really great that you're interviewing people in your community that can bring additional value to others.

I have no why for keeping bees, Nick. They scare the dickens out of me. We had a friend in NYC who did keep bees at his home in Connecticut and who packed his own honey.

Nick, this is a fascinating video. Bees have always intrigued me. I don't see them very often around here but, if we drive about an hour out there are many who keep them.

I really like this and you gave me a great idea, as it would be neat to do videos for the vendors that I support and recommend.

Hi you two. First of all, doing videos such as these is so darned smart. You are not only showcasing someone else, but imagine the people who love bees and how you're building a big connection. Hurray for you.

Nick, being a beekeeper has become a fad here too, and not everyone is cut out to do so.

Endre Barath, Jr. neither was I when I started, practice helps, when I do solo videos I often have to reshoot them, and I do edit as well.It is easier than you think and I imagine you with a rich baratone.

Patricia Feager this is the first in a series on bees and beekeeping, we shot the whole video in one go and I am editing it down into manageable chunks. Paul is so easy to talk with and very knowledgeable.

Go for it Grant Schneider, I think your business lends itself to them.

As Paul said in the video, not everyone is the right fit for keeping bees Nina Hollander

Amanda S. Davidson someone had asked me about them a while back and I know Paul from where I work out, He is easy to talk to and so we agreed to do this series on beekeeping.

Brian England getting them on camera is the hardest part, everyone thinks they will be horrible, it takes effort to persuade people.

Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD thank you, I love sharing information and this is an interesting subject with someone who talks easily about it. I cannot believe how relaxed he was on camera.

Joan Cox that is true, you have to be committed, as we mention in a later segment, you will get stung.
