Today's daily dose of Organek Food for Thought combines Think and Grow Rich's Chapter 11 on The Mystery of Sex Transmutation and Kahlil Gibran's quote on optimism vs. pessimism via the rose.
Think And Grow Rich's "The Mystery of Sex Transmutation" My takeaway from the tenth step towards riches for today has to do with the need for us as thinking and emotional beings to think back to the days of "The Chase" when you wanted someone so badly that you elevated your mind to the keenness of imagination. Think back to the feeling of passion that you felt towards someone that you really wanted to be with and remember how creative you were in your positioning of yourself to be able to be with the one you eventually love(d). Go back to that feeling of heightened brain activity and once you have taken your subconscious mind there, switch into your mind the issue that you need to solve now. The issue that is blocking your creative juices from solving the problem at hand. That is the key to using Sex Transmutation to get what you want. That is the tenth step towards riches.
The Quote:
"The optimist sees the rose and not its thorns; the pessimist stares at the thorns; oblivious of the rose." - Kahlil Gibran
You choose what you get to see. Some people take a moment to find good in all situations. Doing so will cause the mind to create peace within and allow a person to move forward in the direction they need to go to get what they want. Those that decide to focus on the thorns become oblivious of the rose. They have no opportunity to even think of how to get out of their situation. Even when you try to avoid the thorns you are more apt to be pricked by them. When you hold the rose, miraculously the fingers go in between the thorns. Choose to be an optimist no matter how bad things get and you will always see the prize ahead.
The mash-up: When you are faced with a problem that you cannot solve and no solution is in sight, think back to "The Chase" from your past. Practice the skill of moving different emotions in and out of your mind during the course of the day. The postive emotions are desire, faith, love, sex, enthusiasm, romance and hope. Combine some of them. The easiest one to call upon to deliver a keenness of imagination and a high level of creativity is the emotion of sex. Doesn't mean you go out and become a pervert. Just know that reproducton is a biological process that allows a species to continue on this planet. When that drive is present in the mind, solutions to "The Chase" come easily. Use that level of thinking to deliver the rose. Don't even think about the thorns.
