I've been dancing here in the "Rain" since like 2007? In fact, I just went back and found my very first post!
I've learned so much from my time here. From blogging and SEO to other parts of my profession, the learning opportunities at and within the Active Rain community have been awesome!
But so have the friendships I have made. A few have come and gone, but most remain. And some of those are truly friendships that I cherish...and think the other does too.
A reminder of those friendships and how wonderful it is to get together IRL (In Real Life) were ever present this past Saturday morning as we had a AR MeetUp here in Atlanta. Two of my BFF's, Debe Maxwell, CRS and Tammy Lankford, made long trips (4 hours and 1.5 hours) just to have breakfast and meet Sally K. & David L. Hanson ! I'd never met these two, and they were everything and thensome as far as wonderful and giving people go. I had a great time visiting and learning from them both!
But it can be amazing in your own city...you just get caught up in your own life and don't see the local people you know. So a few hours with Tim Maitski, and Michelle Francis and Lynn Friedman was a special treat as well. And my lender friend Rodney Mason with OnQ Financial (whom I will soon be neighbors with in my new Midtown Atlanta office!) and a new connection with Jenna Dixon.
So it was a small group in size, but huge in knowledge and friendships!
I'm on a mission to dance MORE in The Rain in 2018! And these people certainly are an inspiration!!!
