Fishhawk Lake-Tuesday Travelogue June 17
Today when I saw Gayle Rich-Boxman Fishhawk Lake Real Estate post that it was the 146th week of writing the Travelogue I had to dig and go into the archives...
The Year was 2014 and the month was June and our friend decided, that since so many of us do not have the time to travel due to family, pets and career obligations... we might as well travel virtually through our friends on Active Rain. Meaning enjoying their descriptions and photos of places they have visited and shared with us on this platform.
What an awesome idea she came up with, more importantly to stay the course and that she is still doing it...

In following the steps of some of the ActiveRain greats (Kathy Streib, Debbie Reynolds, Patricia Kennedy) who have ongoing series where they spotlight others' posts, I am embarking on my own and hope that you will join me as we do some virtual traveling weekly.
The purpose of this is to:
"enjoy the ride"
"take a trip without even leaving the farm"
"expand your horizons"
"see through someone else's eyes"
and hopefully much more!

Laura Cerrano decided to take something off her bucket list by trekking the Himalayas. This part of her trip was filled with unexpected pleasures. What Happens in Namche Bazarre....
Kathy Streib takes us on another beach journey, and part of it is through the trail of a turtle!
Rene` Fabre whisks us away on a most breathtaking sailing trip through the British Virgin Islands. Always a terrific storyteller, he weaves a great tale, and makes you want to hit the high seas!
Robert Swetz, aka Vegas Bob really knows his stuff when it comes to photography and for years he's shown us his "local area", but this time he has taken us OUT of Vegas, to a totally different venue. (I like this one better). Enjoy the trip!
