Today when I saw Gayle Rich-Boxman Fishhawk Lake Real Estate post that it was the 146th week of writing the Travelogue I had to dig and go into the archives...
The Year was 2014 and the month was June and our friend decided, that since so many of us do not have the time to travel due to family, pets and career obligations... we might as well travel virtually through our friends on Active Rain. Meaning enjoying their descriptions and photos of places they have visited and shared with us on this platform.
What an awesome idea she came up with, more importantly to stay the course and that she is still doing it...
If you have not check this series out, you must add it to your reading list. Might as well follow Gayle if you do not already, she writes about a lot of fun stuff besides traveling....
In following the steps of some of the ActiveRain greats (Kathy Streib, Debbie Reynolds, Patricia Kennedy) who have ongoing series where they spotlight others' posts, I am embarking on my own and hope that you will join me as we do some virtual traveling weekly.
The purpose of this is to:
"enjoy the ride"
"take a trip without even leaving the farm"
"expand your horizons"
"see through someone else's eyes"
and hopefully much more!
Here are some travels that I've enjoyed recently and hope you will, too.
This is week two of Tuesday Travelogue.
Robert Swetz, aka Vegas Bob really knows his stuff when it comes to photography and for years he's shown us his "local area", but this time he has taken us OUT of Vegas, to a totally different venue. (I like this one better). Enjoy the trip!
Please be sure to comment and subscribe to these terrific ActiveRain members and let them take you on more trips, both here and abroad.
And if you feel so inclined, become a part of this group:
To our travels, both virtual and real!
