At the beginning of January, Debbie Reynolds challenged us list 3 of our goals for the year and the steps we planned to take to make them happen.
Prompted this morning by a post written by Tony and Suzanne Marriott, Associate Brokers about the status of their 2018 goals, I decided to re-read my own post, Steps to Make 2018 My Best Year Yet, and see how I'm doing.
With a month behind me, I'm happy to report good progress is being made.
Goal One: health - to regain fitness, strength and endurance. In January I've worked out at the YMCA an average of 3-4 times a week, lifting weights, taking classes, etc. My trail hiking and city hiking of the San Francisco hills is back to my pre-illness level; my energy is just about back to normal; I'm feeling strong again. My body feels more toned, and I'm on track losing some weight.
Goal Two: Increase my business income by 50%. One month doesn't make a year, but so far I'm on track to accomplish this. I'm being more intentional in setting appointments. I've set a certain number of days each month when I'll do lead generation-in January I missed by 1 day. I've sent a certain number of face-to-face lunch/coffee meetings with clients/sphere/business partners-in January I've exceeded that. I've increased my marketing as planned, and continue with BombBomb videos. I'm committed to keeping this up!
Goal Three: Take a least 5 weeks of vacation in 2018! This will happen! All trips (2 to Europe; 1 to Costa Rica) have been booked, with payments or deposits already made.
Goals One and Three take time away from my business, but they are essential for life and happiness. Goal Two will take continued focus, smart working habits -- I can't miss a beat!
