Mustang patrons have consistently supported the district’s efforts to modernize and maintain facilities, prepare for continued future growth, and provide students with top-flight STEM and fine arts educational opportunities.

Recognizing the importance of great schools, homebuyers moving into the district have contributed to an average 3.2 percent growth rate in the last 10 years. In 2017, a record number of voters approved $180.8 million to fund the district’s plans for new elementary, intermediate and middle schools and to enlarge the high school campus and build a science academy and a visual and performing arts center.

In school year 2018-19, MPS will offer full-day pre-kindergarten for the first timeThe program will be available on a limited basis, with selections made by lottery. MPS will hold a Pre-Kindergarten Round-Up from 4:30 – 7 p.m. on March 13 at Mustang Middle School. Round-up attendance is required to participate in the full-day Pre-K drawing. Be sure to click on the Round-Up link for information about the enrollment forms you will need to complete to be eligible for full-day Pre-K.
