Hey look there is Purple Paint on that Post
As we were out and about showing Texoma Ranches this last weekend our client said ....
Hey look there is Purple Paint on that post ... Which started the conversation as to why there is purple paint on a fence post and along the fence line on the TTTT posts.
Well you see Purple paint means NO TRESSPASSING the clients response was really how interesting where we live the color is a bright yellow, bright orange, or fluorescent paint
Which lead to more in depth conversation as to how the laws are different in each state. When making a move from one state to another is is always a good ideal to take a few minutes and read up on the laws. Rural areas are where this is used not in the city. Placing Purple paint ensures that it remains in place.
As a NO TRESSPASSING SIGN may fall off of the fence. For the most part you will see this on fence braces and T posts but you may also find it on a tree.
Be on the look out for the purple paint if you plan on taking a hike in an area that one is not familar with. It is better safe than sorry.
