Don't forget to cancel your insurance

As agents we usually tell our home sellers to cancel all of the utilites so the buyer can put them into their names.  We may sometimes forget to tell them to cancel their homeowner's insurance policy and the chemical applications to their lawn.  I'm guessing that the new owners would appreciate a few months of free lawn care, and the sellers might forget to cancel it with the stress of moving. So if you think your sellers have a lawn service, check to see if they have cancelled it.
