Love Working With My Pastors
I have been fortunate enough to help my pastor and his wife with 3 transactions and property management. When I found out they were being transferred the first time I was brand new in real estate! I went to their going away party and bravely asked if I could help them sell their home slipping my card in his shirt pocket! They did call and I listed their home the next week. Pastor told me "I have been given a word that my house will sell this week , while I am out of town!!" I said okay , thinking no pressure here!! The home did sell in a week but not without challenges. The buyer begged to move in before closing and ended up finding some pool repairs that were needed. I split the costs with my Pastor because I told him I didn't think it was a problem letting someone move in a bit early.
I learned one of the biggest lessons ever, NEVER let anyone move in before closing!!
I was asked two more times to help them with their real estate needs and was truly honored by it. They posted a big post on Facebook about their love for me and my husband, thanking us for helping them. Priceless!
