According to NAR’s (National Association of Realtors) 2016 Profile of Home Buyers & Sellers, the share of recent homebuyers who were single at the time of purchase held steady at 24% last year.

The percentage of first-time buyers who were single females rose to 17% (up from 16%), as the share of single men dropped from 11% to 8%.

The primary stated reason for buying a home amongst singles was the simple yet very powerful desire to own a home of their own.

Here is a Yelp review from Raquel D, who purchased a home in Shakopee with Stieg's help... "One huge thing I really appreciate about Stieg is his honesty.  We looked at one house that had a very weird floor plan and unthoughtful addition. After the tour, Stieg told me he didn't  want to sell me that house since the odd layout would always detract from the value.  He is also very responsive, and he has a great list of contacts for inspections, repairs etc. I am definitely very happy with everything Stieg did to help me!
