Your travel plans have been rearranged quite a bit with all the storms this winter. What advice would you have for an agent stuck inside during a snowstorm?

Leigh

I'd advise them to fight the urge to put on sweatpants and watch mindless television programs. Think of how busy they'll be come spring. Now would be a great time to do things like pull apart your MLS data and calculate year-over-year changes in DOM, average sales prices in different school districts, and more. Think how impressive it will be to your springtime clients when you have numbers to back up your opinions.

How do you feel about agents using video?

Leigh

I've been saying that agents need to use video since 2011. Agents shouldn't wait until they can produce perfect, slick, professional videos - clients aren't expecting that. Anyone with a telephone can make a video. My advice is to talk about things you'd tell your buyers and sellers, and your video will come out looking like you're having a casual conversation with the viewer.
