I start out a little slow and then finally bring it home...twice.
Think And Grow Rich's "Persistence" is the eighth of the 13 steps towards riches. "The Sustained Effort Necessary to Induce Faith"
My takeaway has to do with plans. Planning helps you become persistent. No matter how unrealistic or impractical your plan is, if you work your plan with the spirit of accomplishing what you desire most, you are being persistent. As you get the teeniest, tinyest slivers of success, your persistence will lead to a stronger level of faith. The stronger faith helps to be more persistent and the cycle just keeps going around and around until you accomplish what you desire the most to accomplish.
The Quote of the Day: "You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing which you think you cannot do. - Eleanor Roosevelt.
Fear is a necessary ingredient in life...if you want to grow stronger. Most know that our big accomplishments come after we are challenged the most. Each time we face what we fear, our skin becomes a little thicker. Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose. Either way, we get stronger and if nothing else, we develop the ability to face fear at higher levels each time.
The mash-up: Create plans with a huge helping of the ingredient "Fear".
If your plans don't involve doing the things that you fear most, as it relates to what you desire the most, chances are you won't get what you want the most. Think back to all the things you thought of doing that you didn't complete because of a fear. When you write the fear down and put it on paper you have the ability to analyze it from all different angles. Make sure to include your fears in your plans and you will move towards your success much faster. Face your fears and grow stronger.
