San Diego CA Open Houses this weekend.
There are over 1,000 San Diego County Open Houses this weekend. Visiting Open Houses in San Diego is a great way to check out neighborhoods when you are in the beginning stages of finding a home. You can find areas that you really like and developments that you didn't know you would like and some you will want to cross off your list.
Remember it's rare that people actually buy a house that they find through an open house. If you are truly ready to buy your next home then it is better for you to reach out to an agent such as myself immediately. In addition to protecting your interest, an agent will ensure you can write an offer immediately upon finding your dream house, there is nothing worse than seeing your dream home and then missing out because you didn't have your pre-approval letter from a lender in time to put your offer in. Working with an agent can also save you time
We have seen a month of selling price increases for home prices in San Diego. If you are considering buying a home you can find deals on a house in San Diego. Working with a good real estate agent who understands the market is a must. Don’t wait on the sidelines for too long, when a house is priced right it may not make it through the weekend. To make sure you don't overpay for your home, you'll want to have an agent that does a thorough market analysis of the San Diego home on which you are making an offer.

Buyer's Open House Tip #2: Foundation Issues
Certain neighborhoods are famous for foundation issues, much of Sring Valley and the Northwest side of Santee in particular, but even if you aren't looking in those areas, you still want to notice warning sings. Hairline cracks are normal due to settling or occasionally bad drywall techniques. What you are looking for are big cracks, doors and windows that stick. Cracked tiles can be a warning sign or it could be the tile job was bad or the tiles were dective. Garages and patios are often not part of the housing foundation so if you see cracks there it doesn't neccesarily mean there are foundation issues. You can pull up a rug, but don't pull up a carpet. If you are interested in the house, and concerned you still have options. First after you put an offer in and the sellers accept it you generally have 17 days to have a home inspection and make sure the house is in good condition. Want to know more before you put an offer in? Well of course you do, that is my job to come and help identify those tell tale signs, we can also bring the home inspector or contractor to have a look to see if further evaluation is needed or if it looks good to go.
