C.S. Lewis Says You're Never Too Old for Another Goal
Sex Transmutation Converts Desire into Power to Overcome All Challenges
Today's daily dose of Organek Food for Thought combines Think and Grow Rich's Chapter 11 on The Mystery of Sex Transmutation mashed up with C.S. Lewis' quote on Setting Goals or Dreaming Dreams regardless of your age.
Quote #45 from Dr. Joe Tichio's book.
It may be a little long but at least you'll know "Sex Transmutation" isn't anything perverted.
Think And Grow Rich's "The Mystery of Sex Transmutation" is the tenth step towards riches. Often misunderstood as to the meaning of the chapter.
Warning: Please, if you haven't read the book, know that the chapter is on the conversion of levels of thought from one form of mental stimuli to another. This is not about sex. It is about the transmutation of the emotion of sex's energy to another form of energy.
The takeaway has to do with the power behind sexual expression.
If you take a moment to think of the obvious you will be able to identify the power behind sexual expression. The emotion of sex has behind it a set of very powerful constructive potentialities. The first of them is the perpetuation of mankind.
We take mankind's perpetuation for granted. Regardless of the harshness of our environment. Regardless of two seemingly unending world wars, regardless of the Bubonic Plague, regardless of just really crappy conditions in the world at various times as a whole and every day in some countries, mankind continues to stick around. That, my dearies, shows the power of the emotion of sex. Whether or not people feel ALL OF THE TIME that they want to live on, mankind continues to produce offspring.
This is power that can be used in the creative process if "TRANSMUTED" or it can destroy a person's reputation and well-being if misused in an animalistic way. We watch faithful and loyal people reach peaks in their careers while they are married only to see their success vanish when their infidelity causes their libido to disappear from shame. The one's that could care less about their reputations continue to thrive.
You can use the mind to replay past feelings of lost love to stimulate the mind and then utilize that level of thought to solve the problems in front of you.
The Quote of the Day: "You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream." -C.S. Lewis
Your age is relative. There have been many a person that lost it all late in life. The stories of people accomplishing unbelieveable feats late in life abound. The excuse of old age is just another of "Ol Man Alibi's" attempts at thwarting you from getting what you want. Although they say, "Never say never!" that doesn't apply here. C.S. Lewis himself wrote the Chronicles of Narnia late into his life.
The mash-up: If you're feeling too old to dream a new dream or set a new goal, think back to when you were deeply in love AND in pursuit. Take yourself back to that moment and it will invigorate you. While in this state, declare your new goal or dream and take the same steps you are to take from the chapter in desire.
The energy is there for your use. Recall the emotion and transmute it into desire and take action from that point forward through the remaining steps to get you to your success.
