February 17 is the date of the opening of Pulte’s Blackrock in the Canyons of MacDonald Ranch in Henderson.  This new gated neighborhood will have its own private driveway with an impressive entry monument off of Green Valley Parkway and Sunridge Heights.

Blackrock will consist of 140 homes and offers both one and two-story homes designed in the desert contemporary architectural style.  The neighborhood features nine floor plans that range in from 2,172 to 4,541 square feet with three to seven bedrooms, two to 6 ½ baths and two to four-car garages.

Jason Demuth, division director of marketing for PutleGroup, stated “Though diverse in size, homes in Blackrock all embody the same contemporary style to ensure a consistent design aesthetic and a neighborhood as beautiful as its setting.”  Also Demuth mentioned that in Blackrock the floor plans are Pulte’s most popular and best offered by the developer.

The Blackrock homes offer a variety of standard and optional design features. They range from luxury owner suites, flex spaces and private dens, casitas, covered loggias and large balconies.  All the homes are built with Pulte’s Life-Tested features from construction methods, gathering spaces in kitchens, dining and living spaces, open corner sliding doors and floating staircases. Plus as in all Pulte Homes there is a strong emphasis on energy efficiency.

The neighborhood is zoned for highly rated Clark County schools – Vanderburg or Twitchell elementary schools, Del Webb Middle School and Coronado High School.
