The Daily Message.....Cutting Corners

By

I acknowledge the awareness that there is usually no short cut to the best laid plan. It seems we are raised in a world that looks for shortcuts to get ahead. One of the biggest downfalls to success is the need or desire to cut corners. It has been my personal experience that short cuts rarely payoff in the long run.

Often for me the lesson involved in short cuts results in starting over and having more time involved than the original plan has I followed it thru.  Cutting corners is really a sign of impatience and a lack of self discipline. Developing an awareness around this comes with maturity and authenticity. The ability to own the outcome whether good or bad. Self discipline is accountability put in place by one's self to achieve our highest potential.

Are you always looking for the short cut to success or abundance? If you had not been always chasing the shortcut would you have been where you wanted to be by now. Can I encourage you to start today and map our your goals and stick to the plan instead of hopping off on a new shiny trail when we think it;s a short cut? Discipline is one of the hardest factors to a goal or dream and it is usually what sets apart the dreamers from the achievers.

Taking short cuts is often related to jealousy Janet Brooks because some people think others got where they did by luck, inheritance, or cheating. To bad they don't see all the hard work that went into most success stories.
