Electronic Recycling is Coming to Blairsville, GA!
WHEN: Apri 7, 2018 from 10AM - 12PM
WHERE: North GA Technical College 121 Meeks Ave Blairsville, GA
ELECTRONICS ONLY? No, they will also be recycling old papers & documents that will be shredded onsite.
IS THERE A COST? Yes and No, $20 for older TVs and $10 for CTR computer monitors. Large projection and old wooden cabinet TVs will have to go to the main transfer station. Over 36 types of other electronics can be recycled for FREE includig laptops, servers, phones, hard drives, printers, copiers, scanners and more.
ANY ITEMS THAT CANNOT BE ACCEPTED? Gas powered tools, dehumidifiers, ceiling fans and some other items cannot be accepted at this event, but can be taken to the trasfer station on Deep South Farm Rd in Blairsville.
ANY OTHER CHARGES? They are requesting a donation of $5.
WHY $5? It is part of a county partnership with North Georgia Resource Management Authority. All donations go to the Humane Society Mountain Shelter covering Towns & Union counties.
HOW MUCH DOES THE HUMANE SOCIETY BENEFIT? Over the last 4 years, they have collected over $3200 to support animals until they find their forever homes.
WHO HANDLES THE RECYCLING? Working through Norgh Georgia Resource Management Authrity, Atlanta Recycling Solutions and Documents Destruction Services are the businesses that donate their time & employees for the event.
