Money Tree

By
Real Estate Agent with Prime Real Estate

I know that many Realtors and Consumers are all trying to get ahead in the world. I have always been a person that has made my own way in life.

I was recently approached by Money Tree Funding. The "said" they were a lending institution that serviced people looking to refinance and they had people looking for help locating a home. I have never been a person that has fell into the need to purchase lists of people (leads) looking for homes, but they "said" that these people were verified, credit worthy people with a 670+ credit score.

I'll be honest I thought "OK" if they pulled there credit and they have a 670+ credit score they must be serious. Under the pretense of there credit being pulled i agreed to try it for 3 months($500 per Month). Within the first 2 days iI received my first leads. They were wrong numbers and mis-matched. I went through the first six and realized that there was no verification and the credit was not pulled. I immediately cancelled my agreement based on the false pretense of qualified leads. They still took more money. I called the Company and spoke with a person named Rich Sabuto. He has said that no matter what was offered to me I still agreed to a 3 month trial, regardless to the fact of there stating the credit was going to be pulled or not! They do not pull credi, They are NOT offering credit worthy leads and and all they are doing is virtually Search Engine Optimization.

DON'T FALL FOR THE SCAMM!!

They are not getting another dime from me. I have have cancelled my card that they had and WILL be seeking damages for the time agrrivation and false pretenses that are in place.

DON'T FALL FOR THE SCAMM!!

Call me if you have any questions and good luck!

WOW!  I just got an email for a referral and called them.  I don't mind paying a referral fee on the back end of the deal but not the front end.

RED FLAGS:

1.  The referral fee comes from me, not shown on the HUD-1 statement.  He assured me that it would only save me money.

2.  I cannot talk the original referral person.  His "assistances" handle me.

3.  He emailed me a prifile frome a brokerage that I have not been with for 3 years now and "needed my help".

I'm willing to invest in my business to make some money, but I think this would be money down the drain.  You may find my info on the internet, but I can find your info just as quick!  I value the opinions of fellow agents and rest assured, I will check you out before I commit to a financial deal.
