Tips for a Rental Inspection

Just an FYI

Tips for Rental Inspections

  1.        As a Realtor, when I conduct a showing or a walk-through with my client, I am looking for active leaks, ceiling and floor stains, electrical amps, fresh paint, safety concerns (missing railings, trip hazards), adequate space in kitchens and bathrooms, closet space, storage, and most important cleanliness.
  2.       As a new landlord you should look at your rental unit as if it were a place you would live in. Give it the same inspection you would give to a place you would be interested in renting. It doesn’t have to be top of the line quality-but it should be clean, freshly painted, and free of safety hazards.

Here is one from Zillow. Which you can tweak and create with your own branding.
