Pleasant Plains Homes for Sale

As a long time resident of Staten Island, I would highly recommend buying a home in Pleasant Plains.

This neighborhood lies on the south shore of the island, bordered by Prince’s Bay to the east and Tottenville to the southwest.

Many of these homes were built in the 20th century, and we also feature a bunch built during recent years. Whatever your budget and preferences are, you can trust me, Fred Herman, to find the perfect one for you!

A Wide Selection of Homes to Meet Your Needs

Are you looking for a large family home? Or a smaller, more modest one? Take a look at our listings and tell me if something catches your eye!

Our more expensive homes range from about $1,000,000 to 1,800,000. Many houses here are built with gorgeous red brick walls that would captivate you right from the start.

Homes for sale in Staten Island average about half a million dollars. The price per square foot is roughly half the average in other parts of New York City, making a great deal for anybody.

A home like this would be about 2,000 sq ft, with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, hardwood floors, and a fully furnished basement.

Pleasant Plains is the Ideal Neighborhood to Live in

This neighborhood has a station served by the Staten Island Railway. The S55 bus passes right through, and so do numerous express buses that travel to Manhattan.

Pleasant Plains is also home to the South Richmond High School’s main campus. It is a special education school for children aged 10 to 21.

The South Shore of Staten Island has been my home for the past 40 years. I have seen children grow up and move out, and I have seen fresh new faces settle down and become part of this wonderful community.

Residents frequent Bloomingdale Park, which is an ideal place to bring kids or pets. It is also a great place to go for a morning workout.
