President's Day Homes Buying Discounts!

It is President’s Day and the time has come. You finally made that all important and huge decision to purchase your new home. It’s February. Everyone knows that the best prices for homes are out during this month. It just happens that you want to purchase house on President’s day. It is doable. Because it is February, you get to enjoy the extended discounts on home purchases, which may reach up to February 19th. Of course, what would be home buying if you wouldn’t be able to get discounts on home items, right?

Below are some home goods for which you need to watch out:

  • Home goods. Kitchenware, linen, and home décor retailers such as JCPenney and Overstock drop their prices to 50%.

  • Mattresses and furniture. Mattress sales happen on President’s Day. JCPenny, 1800mattress, and Sears are known to bring down their prices to a significant 60%. West El and Overstock also give unbelievable discounts on their high-quality furniture. They even throw in free deliveries and free box springs as well.

  • Large appliances. If you need major appliances such as a washer/dryer, refrigerator, or a stovetop, pop into Lowes, Sears and Best Buy because they tend to lower big name brands like Samsung and Kenmore up to 30%.

  • Small appliances. Rice cookers, electric skillets, and coffeemakers are available for as low as 8 USD on President’s Day.

  • Tech. Surely, you would need to move into your newly purchased home, equipped with all the latest tech items such as computers and television sets. Dell and Best Buy, major players of this category, practically give away their products. Imagine yourself waltzing out of the store with a personal computer or a laptop you bought at 42% discount or with HDTVs at 25% discount.

February 19 is a proper and practical day to engage in home buying. With the right stores, you can enjoy a brand-new living space on President’s Day.
