Waterbury, Vermont is a very well located town in Vermont. It is close to our major highway I-89 at exit 10. It lies South of Stowe, North of Waitsfield/Warren, East of Burlington and West of Montpelier. Many potential buyers like this spot so they can easily commute to Montpelier and Burlington for employment and head north and south to ski.
When I look at the Waterbury home sales trends going back to 2008, Waterbury seems to be on a good course for solid sales. Overall, the number of home sales have increased from 30 homes in 2008 to 58 homes in 2017. The number of sales from 2016 to 2017 increased by 9%
The average inventory of homes available for sale has fluctuated through the 10 years from 30 in 2008 to 33 in 2017. Then average inventory from 2016 to 2017 was down by 15%.
The Median and Average Sale price from 2008 to 2017 it up significantly. Between 2016 and 2017, the Average sold price went down about 1% whereas the median sold price remained about the same.
