The New Unique Real Estate Model...

Welcome to the first in a series of weekly blogs!  Hopefully these posts will help you the consumer make a better informed decision when buying and selling real estate in from the capital city of Richmond to the shores of the Chesapeake Bay. 

By way of introduction my name is Charles Evelyn, the Principal Broker of First Advantage Realty, LLC located in Providence Forge, VA. I have been licensed and selling real estate in the area since 2003 and became a broker in 2007. During my years in the business I always came across the same question from sellers, "Can't you cut your commission if we take care of some of your normal duties?" Since I was working for a full service company at the time, my answer was always no.

That has since changed. When I opened First Advantage Realty, I wanted to give my clients options on how they could go about selling there homes. We threw around several ideas until we came across a model that would work well in the Central Virginia region. Here's what we came up with, three options for sellers:

1. Full Service Representation

2. Our "For Sale With Owner" plan

3. Flat Fee MLS - Internet Marketing package

We believe these options can save our experienced clients money, while still being able to offer full service representation to clients that need or want it.
