Understanding Your Drinking Water Supply and Septic System
Do you have a well on your property? Are you making sure that your well water is safe and drinkable? What about a septic system? Do you know if the septic is working correctly? If the answer is no or I don't know, this is your opportunity to find out how.
The Penn State Extension is holding a Home Water and Septic Workshop. The workshop is ideal for anyone using or owning a private water system, such as wells, springs and cisterns, and/or on-lot septic systems.
At the workshop, participants will learn:
- How to protect, test, and treat your family's drinking water
- How to maintain and inspect your septic system to keep it functioning properly
- About human health and environmental concerns related to private water supplies and septic systems
The workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, March 14, 2018 with two sessions. One session will be held from 1:30PM until 3:30PM and the second session from 6:00PM until 8:30PM. Both sessions will be held at the Gracedale Nursing Home Conference Room at 2 Gracedale Ave. in Nazareth, PA 18064.
Don't miss out on the vital information. The workshop is FREE. Sign up before it is too late.
