Carmel Valley Vacant Residential Lots for Sale

This is the time that buyers have been calling about vacant lots for sale in Carmel Valley's Cachagua area. Is it because winter is mostly over and dreams of acreage with views over the wine country and miles of undeveloped land with only a home here and there appeals?

Vacant land in Carmel Valley's Cachagua area is especially interesting to these buyers. Although there is electricity, it's otherwise pretty much off the grid. In many cases,  there is septic to be considered and wells have to be drilled.

Access roads are sketchy especially on the 40 acres type of parcels, and many owners put a lot of money into their driveways guarded at the road by beautiful gates and arty signs. Below is one that I saw yesterday.

And once all that has been considered, then come the homes which usually take advantage of the fabulous views over miles of the valley, some of it dotted with well known vineyards. In fact, this inspires many of the new owners to put in a little vineyard of their own!

Horses are also prevalent up in Carmel Valley's Cachagua area. What great fun to go riding around your own property? In fact, there is quite a bit of livestock up in those hills, and some wild animals as well.

Most owners of these properties naturally have greenhouses and barns plus a guest house for visiting family and friends.

All this you can do with a choice piece of vacant land in Carmel Valley's Cachagua area.

Hella M. Rothwell, Broker/Realtor® - Some people dream big dreams. It's so easy to soar away with thoughts about building a dream home with sweeping views. But it takes someone with knowledge about what all is involved to keep buyers grounded. Vacant land is so much more than an investment. it takes work, planning, time, money, lots of money and it must be used wisely. Not all real estate agents are qualified to sell vacant land and sadly, many know just as much as the buyer. With you, that's not an issue. you're qualified and competent and involved in the process. I would highly recommend prospective buyers to you to consult with first and I know they will be in excellent hands with your expertise.

I could only imagine how beautiful this lot will look as spring unfolds. Wishing you the very best always.

Patricia Feager - Sometimes I even seem to be the "dasher of dreams" because I do talk about what needs to be done on a vacant lot like this. The, seemingly, low price of the lot is just the beginning.

Endre Barath, Jr. - Yes, don't let the "low" price fool you. If someone wants to purchase vacant land, that's just the first of many expenditures. The buyer really needs to know what they are getting into.

Good morning, Hella M. Rothwell, Broker/Realtor® Oh, what I could do with 40 acres of land in my area.... I'd have 160 single family homes on that parcel....

Barbara Todaro - That's the beauty of Cachagua, I can't see a subdivision there. Ever. For many reasons, water being one of them.

artisan wells can go to China.... that parcel's a money maker.... in your area of outrageous prices, an affordable subdivision would be order taking.... what a great lawsuit for discrimination by a town/city....

Hey Hella: Don't underestimate the power of Barbara Todaro . If she put 160 homes on that parcel, she'd also find a way to make it rain.

Hey, I want to raindance with Barbara Todaro on those beautifully treed lots, Hella!  I foresee a scene similar to the ritual dance in the movie, "Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood."

Myrl Jeffcoat - Maybe Barbara Todaro came through here? Because we certainly had some great little rain storms lately.
