Where are the best deals in Jupiter Abacoa?

Everyone wants a good deal when it comes to real estate. Jupiter FL being the hot spot that it is, favorably priced property is becoming harder to find. But there are still a few good deals to be had in the Abacoa area.

Abacoa Antigua townhomesMy number one pick is Abacoa Antigua. The price per square foot on these 3 story townhomes is lower than any other neighborhood in the immediate area as well as most Jupiter neighborhoods. The reason? Well they ARE 3 stories and you have to be willing to haul groceries up a flight of stairs. Most bedrooms are on the 3rd floor, laundry is on the second floor. And honestly who hasn't left their car keys on the night stand, gotten in their car and... we all know which floor the garage is located on. No yard and very limited outdoor space. So for the plus side, other than price. They are huge! All 3 story units have an attached 2 car garage and driveway. Average pricing for Abacoa Antigua townhomes lingering in the upper $300,000 range as of 2021 2nd quarter. Antigua also offers 2 story compact townhomes with 1 car garages and offer a few floorplans to change things up.

 

Village at Abacoa condosEntry level priced condos in Village at Abacoa - located right in the heart of Abacoa Town Center are priced in the mid $100's to mid $200's. They're compact, but value priced. The condos overlooking Main Street and Town Center Drive are secured buildings with elevator access. East of the Town Center section are 3 story walk-up condos which are closer to the community clubhouse and pool area. They're cool because they're right in the heart of everything. Impact glass keeps the noise levels to a minimum in the secured buildings and the walk-up condos are far enough away from Town Center where it doesn't matter if there's a festival or event going on. Residents get FREE tickets to the major events like Artigras, Italian Festival, etc. There are Food Truck events, Bike Nights, free concerts and tons of events at the street level local restaurants and pubs - pub poker, trivia and more. 
Spring training at Roger Dean Stadium is a huge draw, bringing lots of tourists to the area. If you love baseball, that's great. If not, well it will grate on your nerves after awhile. Parking can be an issue also. Even though it's reserved, visitors often grab spaces and residents have to resort to calling the police / towing company to regain the parking spot. It's loud. If you like quite, need your space - this probably isn't the spot for you. The condo fees are costly, but they do include building insurance & maintenance, along with high speed Internet and cable.

 

Somerset condosSomerset in Abacoa is also more affordable than most, and this subdivision undoubtedly has THE best amenities in ALL of Abacoa. And when I say ALL, I mean it even beats out Valencia with million dollar homes lining the streets. The pool and clubhouse are extravagant. There's a putting green area. A fountain feature at the front of the clubhouse, BBQ area, tot lot, fitness center, community center, car wash station and mail center right in the hub of the community. Small 1 bedroom condos are rather large in size, and the largest of all of the homes are 3/2.1 condos with attached rear loading 2 car garages priced around $300,000. What's not so great about Somerset? The more affordable condos if they're not on the ground level require walking a flight of stairs, or 2 if it's on the 3rd floor. It's also right next to Jupiter Middle School and the elementary school which can be really annoying with the noise level and the congested traffic patterns during drop off and pick up times.

 

Greenwich Abacoa TownhomesGreenwich Abacoa townhomes / condos are one of the newest communities still on this list. Greenwich is located on the east side of Military Trail near shops and restaurants. The townhomes are similar to Abacoa Antigua in that they are 3 stories. Although they're not quite as large as the Antigua townhomes, they have nice open floor plans and attached garages, but they don't have driveways. If you can't park in the garage, you'll be pressed to find a parking spot on the street. The condos are second level walk-ups located above professional services and restaurants. If you don't mind the stairs, the condos are HUGE! The space is massive! The 1 and 2 bedrooms are as large as 1800 sq. feet. But they do face the main road. Hurricane impact glass keeps noise to a minimum, but if you want to sit on the patio you're going to hear it. Condos are priced in the low $200's and the townhomes are currently lingering right at the $300,000 mark.
