March 9, 2018, was the perfect day to tiptoe through the Tulips at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens.
The afternoon sun provided the perfect lighting. The colors were vivid and the air was filled with perfume. My only regrets are that this blog post isn't a scratch and sniff.
Tulips are blooming in splendid color, shapes, and sizes. There was peace in the gardens. Although tulips are short lived when they are blooming, it's a scene you don't want to miss.
Love blooms at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. It is a place where you can be inspired to dream and imagine planting flowers in your own backyard garden. Although I may complain when there is rain, I feel no shame because the flowers forgive and they keep on giving back, year after year.
Tulips make a triumphant entrance. They are not to be taken for granted. I hope that there are flowers everywhere, especially places where we cannot see. You see, they are the breath of the earth. After the rain they come out to say hello.We need to welcome them and enjoy their short term company. My feelings about flowers are as strong as their sweet, fresh, clean smell. I can't imagine living without flowers. I plant flowers to leave something behind. I only wish the Dallas Arboretum was mine.
