It’s amazing to me how we connect with people in the ActiveRain community in ways that are truly unexplainable. I called Susan Haughton, Alexandria Real Estate Agent, as part of the ActiveRain March challenge.
Susan has found that perfect synergy in a real estate partner, Mindy. How she describes it is exactly what I would like to find in a real estate partner. Simply stated, what Susan loves to do and is very good at doing, her partner does not like doing and does not do it well. The opposite is true about her real estate partner. They divide and conquer! And it works beautifully for them.
About that unexplainable connection. Without having met in person, or spoke with each other before, I am amazed at how much Susan and I have in common. While I do not remember how it came up, we got on the topic of essential oils. I have been diffusing organic essential oils for years. I’d only recently started to expand my use to cooking, inhalation, greater topical use, and more.
Susan was a wealth of information on essential oils. She shared some of her blended recipes for various things like sleep, anti-inflammatory, digestion, stress and anxiety, and how to make nighttime facial moisturizers.
We talked about health and diets that consist of non-processed foods as well as the raw food diet she feeds her German Sheppard.
After nearly 3 hours on the phone we both agreed that we could talk to each other all day, however, it was time for both of us to move on to something else.
