Oak Creek Canyon is closed until at least March 5th to repair sections of the road. The retaining walls on either side of the break will be joined together with steel rods cemented into the canyon wall. This will affect visitors traveling between Sedona and Flagstaff.
So if you're planning a trip either to or from Sedona, you will need to take I-17 via I-79.
