The Las Vegas home market has been seeing a great interest in modern homes – not just inside, but the exterior as well.
Midcentury Modern architecture, a catch-all term that encompasses a wide range of styles, from Bauhaus-inspired glass houses to the ranch house style and the farmhouse, has gained cultish popularity in recent decades and even more so in the past two years.
Currently, thirty percent of the new home shoppers in a John Burns Real Estate Consulting group consumer insights survey that was recently completed were looking for a modern exterior style, and thirty-six percent wanted a modern interior style. New home shoppers in the southern regions of the country are more than twice as likely to prefer modern exteriors as other areas.
The Las Vegas Valley has seen an uptick of new home neighborhoods by several builders over the last few years. Some of the neighborhoods are high-end luxury homes however there are areas that are quite affordable in a lot of the master-planned communities all over Southern Nevada. Homebuilders are on trend with many options for mid-century modern homes – contact the Smith Team for more information.
If you are a current homeowner that would like to move to a more modern home the Nevada Builder Trade In Program operated by the Smith Team can help you. We have partnered with Beazer Homes, Century Communities, Pulte Homes and Woodside Homes with over 50 neighborhoods in the Southern Nevada. We also work with other builders other than our builder partners that are sitting with standing inventory and we offer similar benefits as the Nevada Builder Trade-In Program.
Keep in mind that whether you are interested in buying a home or listing a home, a Realtor should represent you– this person is working for your benefit and will help you navigate through the buying or selling process. I have thirteen years in New Home Sales and fifteen years in General Real Estate sales!
Thanks and make it a terrific day…………Robin
