This class is sponsored by the Blue Line Team at Keller Williams Realty. It will cover the basic training required to get your South Carolina Concealed Weapons Permit (CWP). The class is taught by Scott Magaw, a law enforcement firearms instructor and NRA instructor. Scott is assisted by Bill Kennedy, a former law enforcement instructor and current NRA instructor.
Attendees will receive everything they need in order to send off for their CWP (except the fee to SLED), including fingerprints.
Attendees must bring:
1) Pistol or revolver (some rentals are available on a first come first serve basis - please inquire about them) with belt and HOLSTER (no cross draw holsters, please).
2) 50 rounds of ammunition (100 rounds if you believe you might need remedial shooting)
3) Valid SC Driver's License with correct current address (you can take the class without this, but you'll need it to send into SLED).
4) Shoes that can get dirty or muddy. No high heels. RAIN JACKET OR RAIN GEAR WOULD BE GOOD TO BRING AS WELL, JUST IN CASE.
