When My family and I moved to Metro Atlanta back in 2004 from Rancho Cucamonga, California It was exiting, yet scary at the same time as we didn't  know a soul in Georgia, nor did we have a job...so it was quiet an adventure to move all the way from California, it seem that it was in the other side of the world.

It was July 2004 that we pack all of our belongings and took off from California to Georgia with 2 kids ages 2 and 12 without knowing any body in Georgia or a job !!! We never look back and we been very happy in this beautiful State.

When we arrived in Gwinnett County, I didn't know what to expect as I have not seen the house that my Husband at the time bought ( he came by himself hunting for our new home in Georgia). To my surprise it was a beautiful home, in a beautiful city, with very good public-schools. At that time Dacula, GA was just beginning to grow, now it is a well establish city with beautiful parks, schools, gas stations, super markets, and restaurants.

I love everything about Georgia...when I take everything in prospective, this is the perfect place.  Beginning with the weather. Winters are very short, but be prepare as Georgia is known to be "bipolar" with the weather. It can be cloudy and cold one day and the next day it’s in the high 70s, and the next day pouring rain. Not only that, but it can go from being cold in the morning to being hot in the afternoon, so wear layers and don't forget your Jacket and the umbrella.

Snowing in Georgia is hilarious, as Schools can shut down for weeks and the entire state goes under a state of emergency, because Georgia is not prepared for a few inches of snow, so the kids are happy for a short brake occasionally.

Summers can be hot in the 90 to 100 but it is short. Then everyone complain about the humidity, so we all have something to talk about lol your hair gets frizzy, but that is the perfect time of the year to go to your favorite salon to do a BRAZILIAN KARATINE, OR HAIR BOTOX treatment on your hair.

Georgia doesn’t have the Ocean close by, you will have to drive to Savannah which is 3 hours and 30 minutes away from Atlanta, in addition we have Tybee Island, Hilton Head, St Simon'g Island and Myrtle Beach as some of the closest beaches to Atlanta.

Georgia, borders five different States ... Florida, South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, and North Carolina meaning you can be at any point in two to three hours.

Like Hiking?? Georgia has more than 50 mountains to go around with a variety of beautiful lakes, you can enjoy the Northeast Mountains’ scenic beauty, natural treasures and small-town delights. The Mountains will provide you with a simple escape from life’s daily rigors.

I want to be real with you and tell you the weirdest things that we thought when we first came to live in Georgia.

1. They have a lot of pet hospitals, 2.lots of Jewelry stores, 3.many cemeteries which usually are next to the churches, 4.lots and lots of trees, 5.churches in what seems at the time to be in every corner, 6. it rains a lot, and when it rains it pours and then it stops, follow by the sun shining for the rest of the day.

I will say this was different for us coming from California.

We moved 16 families from southern California, only 2 families went back...all the rest are happy and grateful for the decision they made and have had tremendous opportunities in this beautiful state, far more than if they had stayed in California.

I have work with people from California, Florida, New York, Virginia, Chicago, Michigan, Wisconsin and many more.

From all different countries including India, Vietnam, Peru, El Salvador, Mexico, Spain, Colombia, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Chile, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama to mention some.

If you, or anybody you know will like to buy or sale in the beautiful state of Georgia, I will be happy to serve you.
