Stephen Hawkings CH, CBE, FRS, FRSA was an English theoretical physicist, cosmologist, author, and Director of Research at the Center for Theoretical Cosmology within the University of Cambridge. On March 14th, 2018, Mr. Hawkings passed away peacefully inside his home at Cambridge.
His scientific works included gravitational singularity theorems in the framework of general relativity and the theoretical prediction that black holes emit radiation. Hawking was the first to set out a theory of cosmology explained by a union of the general theory of relativity and quantum mechanics.
Mr. Hawkings also provided predictions in regard to the evolution of the human race. Topics discussed included: Humans leaving the Earth to survive, the rise of artificial intelligence (robots), the “tipping point” of global warming (which we are on the brink of), and The Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence.
Thank you, Mr. Hawkings, for sharing your immense knowledge and dedication. May we humans be smart enough to listen and learn from your sharing as we all moving forward in our human evolution.
