First, I know what you are thinking. Is this guy crazy? Well, think of it this way. Has there ever been bursts of real estate sales due to "forces" that didn't have any base in logic? Of course there has been.... Let's ponder shall we.

I have had clients buy homes because they really like the neighbors, (one example is a client liking the idea of a MN State Trooper being across the street from his young family) even if the house is not "all" what they really want... Even, the smell of a home reminds them of a childhood memory, and they link that home with those positive (or negative) feelings, and it makes it more desirable to purchase. Other examples of "feel good" driven home purchases could be... they just got a good review with their boss at work but no raise, and are now willing to spend $25,000 more on a house because they "feel" like they will be getting a raise soon! Or even they had a flat tire on their way home from work, and they suddenly have a passion to want to move closer to their workplace, which is a bit more practical but the annoyance of the flat tire "drove home" the desire to move.

Let's face it, buying a home is a big deal, and costs a lot of money, even in today's market. So, "feeling good" about the Vikings finally having a consistent QB that COULD get us to the Super Bowl COULD boost home sales? YES! (By the way, for the record....I am going to still miss, Teddy, Case, and kind of miss Sam)
