Once your buyers have selected their perfect community, home site and floor plan, they then get to meet with our professional interior design team to choose the features, finishes and colors that will turn their house into a home.
We’re excited to announce that have new options available for your buyers to choose from at our Personal Selection Studio! We’ve added to our impressive selection of both standard features and luxury upgrades, from new paint schemes to on-trend appliance options. Here, we’ve broken down many of the new options your buyers will be able to select from when they purchase a Highland home:
Paint
We are proud to offer Sherwin Williams paint as a standard feature in all our single-family new home communities in central Florida. Currently, we offer 13 exterior paint schemes, as well as four interior colorways that include popular neutrals other than white, such as greys and browns. Our new paint schemes also include two-tone options with neutral walls and classic white ceilings and trim.
Countertops
Quartz is now an upgrade option for all of our single-family home buyers! We offer two light colorways – Arctic Mist and Arctic Snow – which are both perfect to coordinate with today’s trendiest color palettes. The cost to upgrade to quartz ranges from $3,000-$6,000 depending on the size slab needed.
Quartz has become an increasingly popular countertop choice for several reasons. A solid surface that does not need to be resealed making it fairly low-maintenance, quartz is a durable, tough material comprised of 90 percent quartz and 10 percent polymers. It is considerably harder to chip, scratch or stain than other solid surface options. Plus, it’s a non-porous material, and it offers consistent color.
In addition to quartz, we’re now offering new laminate options from Wilsonart, which is becoming an increasingly popular option thanks to its affordability and variety of style options. Premium laminate with a standard edge is included in all our Manor Series homes, but your buyers can choose to upgrade to a beveled edge for $200-$550, or a crescent edge for $325-$675 (depending on the total countertop size). If a client purchases a home from our Estate Series, Wilsonart’s HD laminate comes standard, and this is also an upgrade option available to our Manor Series buyers for $300-$700.
Appliances
If your clients are trendsetters, then they’ve come to the right place! We now offer today’s hottest appliance option – black stainless steel – as an upgrade choice! We offer Whirlpool black stainless-steel appliances as an upgrade option for all our single-family home buyers. They can choose from side-by-side or French door refrigerator options, as well as matching dishwasher, microwave and oven. This option ranges from $3,830-$4,230 to outfit the entire kitchen in black stainless-steel appliances.
We are now also offering a Whirlpool freestanding double oven option in standard stainless steel for $1,200. This is perfect for your buyers that love to entertain or host large family dinners!
Lighting
Progress Lighting is our preferred lighting vendor, and our designers work with their lighting experts to ensure we offer options that will match each buyers’ unique decorating style. We have new upgrade options available to all our single-family home buyers, making it easier than ever to find the right look for their home!
- The Gulliver collection is a rustic style that includes lights perfect for a nook, dining room, foyer or anywhere pendant lighting is needed. Prices in this collection range from $145-$225 per fixture.
- West Village, a modern collection with industrial-inspired accents, is available in a nickel or bronze finish, and it features lighting for a nook, dining room, foyer, bathrooms or anywhere pending lighting is needed. Fixtures in this collection are priced from $130-$200.
- Another industrial-style option for bathroom vanities is available with the Archie collection. Available in chrome, nickel or bronze, these fixtures are priced from $150-$175.
In addition to the new interior lighting options, we have new outdoor fan selections that are perfect additions a lanai or front porch. Three options are available in white, black or bronze finishes, and all are suitable for outdoors and wet areas. Fans are priced from $175-$225 each.
Flooring
Tile is of course a popular flooring option for new homes in Florida, and we are proud to offer our buyers several options and levels of Mohawk ceramic tile. Level 1 and 2 flooring features 18”x18” tiles available in multiple colorways and textures. For buyers that choose to upgrade to level 3, they can choose from 18”x18”, 12”x24” or 6”x24” options, including a wood-look tile.
We also offer three levels of Mohawk’s laminate wood flooring in various gray and brown finishes.
Finally, for buyers searching for the most affordable option, we offer Armstrong vinyl plank flooring, which is also our best-selling option. Buyers can select from four gray and brown wood-look finishes. Prices are per room, so it can range anywhere from $150 to upgrade a small hall bath to $1,200 to finish out the living room and hallway.
Wall Tile
We also offer wall tile from Mohawk available in three levels and a wide variety of color and style. Prices vary based on the size of the space being finished, but generally, level 1 projects are priced between $250-600, level 2 is priced from $268-625 and level 3 can range from $318-675.
With all level 1 wall tile options, the accent band is preselected with the tile options. But when homebuyers upgrade to levels 2 or 3, they can choose from a variety of different coordinating bands, or listellos. The listellos include various glass and metallic options that can range in price from $600-$1,200.
And, as an added bonus, each wall tile option we offer has a match in floor tile options to ensure seamless transitions throughout your buyers' home!
