Staging Vacant House Benefits

A homeowner who is going to sell his home and vacate the house at the same time the property is put on the market, may want to think about staging the house.  Following are a few things you may want to consider before making the final decision to or not to stage your house:

Having plants in house – As a seller, you want the home buyer to think and say this could be our next home.  No matter what type of home it is you want to present the home in the best possible light and be inviting to visitors.

Room dimension come into perspective – Having furniture in a room gives the potential buyer a better idea of the size of room than providing measurements. Furniture provides an immediate reference point or at least an estimate of the size of the actual room.

Staging should emphasize positive aspects – Important to emphasize positive features of the home.  If house not stage, imperfections are more noticeable since a potential buyer has nothing else to view within the house.

Staging tends to curb negative thoughts – Potential buyers are less likely to think that the seller may be involved in financial crisis, such as, divorce or other potential problems.  Staging creates an atmosphere were buyers are less likely to make a lower offer for the property.
