Another Sold Home in Hampton Station Sacramento

By
Real Estate Agent with Elizabeth Anne Weintraub, Broker DRE #00697006

As I drove along Florin Road yesterday, which is a terrible street for traffic, I realized the number of the house was already slipping my mind. I was on my way to pick up a lockbox from a closed listing.  They don't make the left-turn lanes on Florin long enough for cars to pull into or the lights are not timed properly. Often the left lanes are backed up with cars waiting to turn into one of many strip malls.

So it was about that time, as I managed to navigate out of another pile up of cars, that I thought, hey, I could pull over somewhere (good luck with that) and try to find the files on that transaction on my cell, or I could email my assistant and ask her. It was either 7398 or 7389. Knew the sign would be gone from the yard.

Since it had been a few days from closing, my brain knew enough to automatically begin deleting unused data stored upstairs, so goodbye house number. When you get older, you've gotta move around those boxes in the attic to find stuff.

You can read more about the sale of this house in my personal blog today at this link: Seller Asked: Did You Just Sell a Home in Hampton Station?

Been there, done that with forgetting the street number of homes that I sold.  In a pinch, I use our MLS search function where I can put in my agent I and the street name.

Congrats on the sale of your listed home for sale in Hampton Station in Sacramento . No worries  about forgetting the house number on the closed transaction .  Hoping that soon you will be installing the lock-box on another home.

Chris Ann Cleland It was already moved to sold status in MLS, and our Metrolist is such a pain to navigate on a mobile. The sign-on rarely works right, which is why I end up using the browser version instead. It was easier just to text my assistant and then get an immediate text back with the correct house number.

Michele Cadogan You betcha, I would **LOVE** to list and sell yet another home in Hampton Station. It's funny about numbers, I can remember them as long as I'm in escrow but once it has closed, BAM, leaves my brain.

Elizabeth, are we suppose to remember those addresses?  Shoot, I forget my own address!

Joan Cox Why would you need to know your own address when you can just say to your phone, hey, Siri, take me home?
