Industry Observer

I had a young couple look at home this morning, they stayed in the home for a long time. Their agent told me they were interested in the home but also were looking at another home. She wanted to know bottom line pricing. I asked her what dollar amount they were thinking, I also told her the home had already been discount 72K, indicating not much room to go. I also mentioned that I had someone else interested in the home. Crickets. Please tell me a number and I will tell you whether you are in the ballpark or not. I do not just give my cards away.

Agree with Alexandra, that's not the way to get it done. Can't they do comps to figure out the right pricing? Good grief, that's what we do...

Yolanda, if the REALTOR asked about the bottom line pricing, why would the buyer not be ALL IN?   Strange!

Good for you, never give away your bottom line!  If they want the home, they will purchase the home, so they should make an offer to prove they are serious.
