Low inventory suggests that homes are not sitting on the market for very long . That is the market we are in.  Low inventory continues in Boca Raton with some houses getting multiple offers coming in.  

 

I wouldn't expect home prices to run up quite as fast as they did back in 2006 as banks have gotten a lot stricter on lending guidelines and are no longer giving a loan to anyone with a pulse.  But, low inventory and rising mortgage rates, which seem to be coming, is one indicator that prices will continue to rise.  This is the market we are in.

  

We saw home prices remain pretty much the same this month in Boca Raton FL  on both single family homes as well as condos, villas and townhouses.  Price per square foot dipped slightly. 

 

 

  

Boca Raton Real Estate Market Summary

In  February 2018,  the average list price for single family homes in Boca Raton FL was $ 807,382.  The list price per square foot for single family homes in Boca Raton was $ 252.  The average list price stayed the same as last month; however, average list price per square foot showed a decrease from last month.

 

In February 2018, the average sold price for single family homes in Boca Raton was $ 752,626 with an average price per square foot of $ 239.  The average sold price remained pretty close to last month while average sold price per square foot decreased from last month.  Average days on market was 85.

  

In February 2018, the average list price for condos, villas and townhouses in Boca Raton FL was $ 313,335.  The list price per square foot for condos, villas and townhouses in Boca Raton was $ 198.  Average list price as well as price per square foot showed an increase this month over last.

 

In February 2018, the average sold price for condos, villas and townhouses in Boca Raton was $ 293,345, showing an increase over last month.  Average price per square foot was $ 186, virtually the same as last month.  Average days on market was 80.  

 

We saw prices hold steady in February 2018.  Prices of single family homes as well as  prices of condos, villas and townhouses in Boca Raton FL remained pretty much the same as last month, while price per square foot fell slightly.  Days on market fell slightly. on houses and remained the same on condos, villas and townhouses.
