Miami’s Promotional Facelift

Despite its abundance of arts and entertainment and an ever-growing culture practically unrivaled in South Florida, Miami has come to be known for its scantily clad bodies visible along the South Beach coastline and its 24 hour nonstop party and oftentimes venial atmosphere. While that’s by no means a bad thing and has contributed greatly to its tourism and real estate appeal, city officials feel its arts culture and prevalent design history is being overshadowed.

In an effort to highlight Miami’s abundance of art and culture as well as emphasize some of its newest attractions like the massive Carnival Center for the Performing Arts, a new print campaign called “Miami: Express Yourself,” is being launched, featuring some fascinating and creative artwork.

These art pieces by prominent local artists place some of the most notable aspects of Miami and South Florida into unique situations designed to enthrall as well as highlight the city’s varied design, something anyone who lives in a downtown Miami condo is already very much familiar with by visiting the nearby Miami Design District.

In addition to a thriving nightlife and a nearly unrivaled beach atmosphere, culture and art play a heavy role in not only attracting tourists but also turning these same tourists into real estate buyers of South Florida homes and South Beach condos, a trend that Miami depends heavily on and has contributed to its high valued real estate.

The people behind the “Miami: Express Yourself” campaign will be running their ads in national publications which should go a long way in attracting people from around the country while simultaneously ensuring a healthy mix of ethnicities, something Miami is already well known for. Existing Miami residents already know they’ve got an exciting array of entertainment, art and culture and it appears that soon others will be finding out what they’ve been missing.
