Hi Joan... that really is creepy. Just block the numbers asap.

I do receive calls from solicitors that have a person's name and a local number shown as the caller ID. I have not received any calls from people stating my name was shown on their caller ID. 

I certainly hope that doesn't happen.

This is a huge scam going on right now. They are using the number as the number that shows on caller ID. It can be an issue especially for agents who can get in trouble when people are on the Do Not Call list.

Good morning Joan. I have had this happen too. It stinks and I don't call back unless there is a message.

Have heard about this but not experienced it, although I do get voicemails left when no call came through.

I have had that happen a few times. It is creepy! 

Well we have a new level of creepy with this Joan Cox ...yikes!  I would recommend leting calls go directly to voice mail for a week or so.  It won't deter your current clients and if the scammers don't get through to you, they will probably drop your number from their attempts.

Same thing happened to me a few months ago. I did not think much of it after the first call. When the second call came in a little later, it was a woman with her man listening in. They claimed that I called them. I assured them I had not.  I told them it was probably someone spoofing my number because someone called me earlier stating the same thing. Hung up with them and called my carrier to report it. They stated it was something they were aware of. Have not had it happen since.
