This weekend there is a little something for everyone going on!!

Thunder Basin and CCHS both have a busy soccer weekend! 

The CCHS girl's soccer team will be in Laramie on Friday and Cheyenne on Saturday. 

Thunder Basin girl's soccer will be in Cheyenne all weekend.

CCHS boy's soccer will be hosting Laramie and Cheyenne Friday and Saturday.

Thunder Basin boy's soccer will be hosting Cheyenne both Friday and Saturday. 

All local games will be held at the soccer field at Thunder Basin for both teams. For game times see the CCSD Master Calendar

 

 

The Gillette Wild U18 hockey team begins their bid for a national title today in Plymouth, Minnesota!! We are told the games can be viewed on  Hockey TV where you can create an account and choose which game to watch. 

Good luck to all Gillette high school athletes this weekend!

If collegiate sports are more your speed then you're in luck! Due to poor field conditions in Spearfish we can see some Division II college softball action this weekend! The Black Hills State Yellow Jackets will host the Chadron State Eagles on both Friday and Saturday at Energy Capital Spors Complex. Friday's double  header begins at noon and Saturday's at 11:00. Outside of sports there are a whole lot of fun things to choose from!!

Friday night at 7:00 or Saturday at 2:00 or 7:00 you can catch the final showings of the "Alibis" put on by the Gillette Community Theater. The shows will be held at 222 South Gillette Avenue next to First Interstate Bank. For more information see their Facebook page.

On Saturday at 1:00 Momenum Physical Therapy is hosting an Extraordinary Easter Egg Hunt for children with special needs and sensory difficulties. The event will be held at their facility at 548 Running W Drive from 1-3. 

They ask that you call ahead to RSVP so they can accomodate all needs. 307-696-6045

On Saturday at 1:00 head down to the Rec Center parking lot for the annual Jackalope Jump to benefit Special Olympics athletes! Jumper registration opens and noon. For more information, to donate, or to see this year's prize categories, see their website!

Saturday at 4:30 or 7:00  head on out to Cam-Plex Central Pavilion for The Great Benjamin's Circus. Tickets are available at the door or online at https://benjaminscircus.com/

At the Cam-Plex Wyoming Center from 1-6 the Gillette Rotary Club is hosting their annual Streetfest. Check out all of the craft beers and street food then try your hand at Corn Hole, life sized Jenga or other games! VIP admission is from 1-2 and general admission begins at 2:00. Tickets are available through Rotarians or at the event. For more information see their Facebook event page.

Saturday night, Cam-Plex presents their 9th Annual Gillette's Got Talent. Featuring local performers competing to be voted Gillette's top talent! This show is always fabulous, Gillette has some exremely talented folks! Show begins at 7:00 in the Heritage Center. General admission is $7. For more information see the Cam-Plex website

Very busy weekend here in town with a little something for everyone! We are sure looking forward to it!

This one we are going to leave up for a couple of weeks. ANB Bank is collecting new and gently used prom dresses, shoes, and jewelry from now through April 14th. On April 14th from 9-5 the items will be given to girls in need. They believe every girl deserves to feel like a princess. This is their 2nd annual Prom Extravaganza.
