This past Saturday we celebrated Bob's birthday and he opted for a dinner in which we usually both prefer. So had a special bottle of wine that Bob's boss had given us it is excellent and rated 92 by Robert Parker. This is a very deep purple color, this wine has one of the most velvety elegant finishes it was so smooth. The aromas are deep dark black cherry, the taste is of deep dark red sweet plums, with deep dark cherry and a hint of anise. It paired welled with our rare steak and salad! We had a wonderful evening and I think the birthday boy enjoyed his meal as well as the wine!
The cheapest that I can find this bottle is $158 as I said this was a gift not one I will be buying anytime soon as it is way beyond my budget!
